OK DRUKISTS, here is the first GOLDEN UKE AWARD, hot off the workshop table. Hand Crafted by local artist Dennis Fuller, these trophies are just awesome. I would compete just for one of these works of art. However, The amazing prizes wonderfully donated by Hans Music Spot do make the whole thing even more appealing.

Lucy Wise is performing at DRUKE 2017. Not only that, she is running a workshop on Appalachian Songs and Fingerpicking. I'd go to the workshop just to hear her sing some more. It is a pure delight to hear a story put to song by Lucy Wise. Everyone should experience this extraordinary performer.
